Personal Insurance
Family Health Insurance
One sum insured, shared across the family - including parents.
In short
A family floater is a single health policy with one sum insured shared by everyone covered under it. It costs less than separate policies for each person, but a large claim by one member reduces what is left for the rest of the year.
Overview
A floater works well for a young family and less well when older parents are added, because the premium is priced on the eldest member. In many cases a floater for the immediate family plus a separate policy for parents costs less and covers better than one large floater for all.
Whether to add a super top-up above the base cover is usually the highest-value decision available, and it is cheaper than raising the base sum insured.

Working with us
We are insurer-neutral. For every enquiry we approach multiple insurers, compare the wordings as well as the premiums, and tell you where they differ on the points that decide a claim.
After the policy is issued we stay involved: endorsements, mid-term changes, renewal reminders that start ninety days before expiry, and claims that we prepare, submit and follow to settlement.
